This is the "really, really big thing" I was talking about in my journal a few weeks ago. It's not as big as it originally was though. :c
I try not talking about my family a whole lot online, but my sister-in-law is having a baby this week! The whole nursery is being decorated around this drawing. <3 She wanted to move away from traditional pastel colors and decided to use red, blue, yellow, and green as the main colors.

It's kinda funny, actually. I had a bunch of prints sitting out on a table in the living room while I was trying to get ready for A-Kon this year, this one being on top. My sister-in-law saw it and fell in love, despite it being one of my more ignored pieces online, haha. We talked about it, and we came up with a loose idea of what she wanted the painting to look like. I'd originally planned to have two 8x10 pieces that made one big picture when you put them together, but it later changed and became just one piece. The original had 10 fairies and a river running through the middle, lol.

I spent way more time on this than I thought I was going to, lol. Wtf forests.
